Some Christianese is necessary. Jesus said some crazy stuff too (eat my flesh?), but for Him it was intentional. I think Christianese is a symptom of a sectarian mindset more than a problem all it's own. I used to work in the IT tech support world surrounded by computer geeks all day. Nobody has more obscure inside language than computer geeks! So many of those guys were incapable of talking about computers with non-geeks in a way that made ANY sense to the non-geek. I think the key is being able to live in both worlds and strip as much of the crazy-talk from our language as we can no matter who we are talking to.
